Description of our house
We have a small (about 100m), and very charmous singel house with a big, lovely garden. There are trees, a lot of flowers and a wounderful view down the valley where the sun sets. You are in the country, but only five minutes from the train station directed to Rome (about 40 minutes), 30 minutes from the seaside with nice beaches and only 10 minutes from the Lago di Bracchiano with it's enormous castle (Tom Cruise married there!:)). Around the lake there are three beautiful medioeval towns with nice, little restaurants (fish is very good there), sandy beaches, canooing and surfing offered everywhere, it's a real paradies for children! Our region is very rich of archeologicly importend points (like the necropoli of Cerveteri).You are near to Toscany, Pisa and Viterbo.
The house is rual, but the next villages are only five minutes from here, each one has more than 3000 inabitans, so we are not really lost in the countryside!

Our neighborhoodAll around the house there is a large garden covered with grass and full of plants. There are a lot of olive-trees, roses, lavender, rosemarin and sage, fruit trees and all kind of flowers. We have a wooden terace, covered with a sunblind, where we are used so have all our meals during the summer. Outside in the garden there is a table-tennis and behind the house a little soccer-ground where our two sons Johan and Jonas are used to play every afternoon with their friends. There are bikes and inline-scates for children, but you should use them in another place,because around here there are lots of ups and downs. There is all the beach-stuff for your children, many toys and english satelite-television. We have broad band internet, DVD and PS2. There is a friend of us who is English tourist guide living in the neighborhood, you can contact her it you need a guide for Rome. There are lots of beautiful termal-baths all around (the nearest just 15 minutes away, where you can spend the afternoons or the evenings relaxing in 50 degree hot water comming directly out of the earth.
We live in a vulcanic zone, geologicly very interesting and nature protection area. There are beautiful walks to do, in the mixed forest where you meet wild horses, donkeys, foxes.

Something about ourselvesWe are five persons: I am a German woman of 36 years, teaching german and english, my husband Gianni is 52 years old, he works at school and his hobbies are archeologie, poetry and music. Our children are seven, twelve and thirteen and speak german as well as Italien. I grew up in Germany, but I 've lived in Italy since 1991.We love classic music and all other kinds of music.Most of all we like traveling and discovering new places. We already did one exchange and it was fantastic. Our oldest son plays the violin, the daughter classic guitar, I myself play the piano. Gianni is a DJ in his sparetime!

We are very respectful as are our children and will leave your proberty as we found it. The house is a good starting point for a very various program: going to the sea or to the lake, visiting Rome, going to Toscany, visiting castels, ruins and tombs, relaxing in the garden!
Most of all we desire for this holiday the Atlantic ocean but we are open to offers.
We are also interested in a youth-exchange with teenagers in the age of ours with France or England.
Would also be nice to do short exchanges with other regions of ItalY!!
