Description of our house
Our home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. Ful of books and paintings that we love but are not Picasso's. We have two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the living room is very large and we have a very well equipped eat-in kitchen. Broadband internet and cable tv may make your stay more entertaining but we reccommend walking around or going to a concert at the nearby National Auditorium. We are experienced exchangers and have references should you want them. We will care for your home as though it were ours. We area party of 3,2 retired university profs and a lifelong friend who is a writer.

Our neighborhoodOur apartment is 4 blocks away from the Sagrada Familia and 10 from Plaza Catalunya, the blocks are fairly short and a 20 minute walk will take you the Ramblas and the Olympic Village. But should you be lazy, right in front of our building there is a bus stop with five different lines. There are 3 excellent Basque restaurants just around the block, and one quite famous for its nouvelle cuisine, expensive though. Groceries are no problem as well as bars and cafeterias, you are on the EIXAMPLE, the center of the city.

Something about ourselvesMy husband is an engineer and taught at the Politécnica for 30 years, I taught linguistics and translation at 2 universities for another 30 years, the UAB and the UPF. We are seniors but st5ill active and do freelance work. Our friend is a rather wellknown author. We are fairly experienced exchangers. Animals are no problems though we no longer have a pet. References from previous exchangers are available.
